SUMMARY:Community Hike - Mount Sugarloaf
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Henry David Thoreau’s 200th Birthday by Communing with Nature. People of all ages are encouraged to join us in the parking lot at the base Mt. Sugarloaf at 8:30 am for a community hike up the mountain. We will split into two groups: one walking up the road and the other hiking up the main trail. We will meet at the top to enjoy light refreshments and discuss the role that nature plays in our lives and the life of Thoreau. This free program is brought to you by Tilton Library and the Sunderland Public Library and is part of the Thoreau Bicentennial Statewide Read.
