It’s an Accessories Sale! This will be held on Saturday September 21st from 10am to 3pm at the South Deerfield Polish Club. \nPLEASE DONATE: We need your gently used handbags\, pocketbooks\, purses\, tote bags\, jewelry\, scarves\, ties\, and belts for this benefit to be a success. \nThe Friends will be collecting these items\nat the library between 10 – 12 on these dates:\nJune 22; July 20; August 17; September 7; and September 14 \nFriends volunteers will be there to accept your donations to ensure they are clean and in working order. We cannot accept items that are badly stained\, torn\, broken\, dirty\, moldy\, malodorous or in disrepair.  Items outside of the scope of this sale will also be rejected such as luggage\, duffle bags and backpacks. Such items will be returned to you at the time of the donation. All unsold items will be donated to local charities after the sale. \nDonations may not be left at the library\, they must be given to a Friends Volunteer there to collect and review the donations at the specified dates and times. \nThank you for your ongoing support of the Friends fundraising efforts!

DESCRIPTION:AT DEERFIELD TOWN HALL – NOT TILTON LIBRARY.\nPart of the Climate Preparedness Week Series:\nThis group of highly motivated and concerned high school students – Sadie Ross\, Isabel Marrapese\, and Joe Thompson – which founded this initiative in 2017\, will present how they formed as a club and what they have worked for in and outside of Frontier over the past few years. They will talk about lifestyle changes that they made\, mostly pertaining to diet and going vegetarian/vegan for the environment. They are hoping it will show that if three teenagers can change their habits to benefit the environment\, you can too. A variety of vegan cupcakes and recipes will be offered. \nClimate Preparedness Week is a series created by Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW).
