All books must be in good condition and all potential donations will be reviewed by Friends members at the time of donation—only select items will be accepted. We are also collecting purses\, which may be donated during library hours at the circulation desk. \nBooks may only be donated during the September collection days.\nActual Friends Book Sale will take place on Saturday October 1. \nClean out your closets and book shelves and help the Friends raise money for library programs!

SUMMARY:Jo Comerford Library Tour Visit
DESCRIPTION:Join Jo at the Tilton Library in Deerfield on Saturday\, September 24\, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. This visit is part of Jo’s 2022 Library Tour which will feature visits to 15 libraries throughout the Hampshire\, Franklin\, Worcester district from June to September\, 2022. \nThis tour is a continuation of Jo’s first library tour\, which began in 2019\, but ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019-2020 library tour included visits to libraries in Bernardston\, Colrain\, Gill\, Erving\, Leverett\, Leyden\, Montague\, Northfield\, Orange\, Royalston\, Shutesbury\, Warwick\, and Wendell. \nThis tour will celebrate the vibrancy of our region’s libraries and the critical role they play in our communities\, as gathering places\, resources\, introductions to literacy\, and so much more\, as well as the resilience of our librarians and library staff who have worked to support our communities throughout the pandemic. \nEach visit will include opportunities for constituents to hear about Jo’s legislative work\, ask questions\, and join in conversation about pressing issues affecting their communities.
