Every year Tilton Library trustees conduct an appeal for funds to help in our continuing effort to offer the community the very best books, services, programs and facilities. In addition to supporting traditional efforts, your gift will provide funds to expand our collection and services so that we are better able to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community. Annual appeal requests are sent out once per year in December.
Remember a family member or friend with a gift for books or general support. When the Library receives a cash gift for the purchase of memorial books or collections, the selection will be made by the Library. The name of the donor or person memorialized will be designated on a special bookplate at the request of the donor. Find out more about donating here.

Fundraising: Spring Plant Sale
Each spring, the Board of Trustees sponsors an annual plant sale at the back of the Library. Donations of healthy plants from area gardens are welcome on the day before the sale. The sale is held rain or shine.
Fundraising: Wine Tasting
The first annual Deerfield Spirit Shoppe and Chandler’s Restaurant wine tasting to benefit Tilton Library was held at Chandler’s Restaurant in January, 2009. Each year since then our wine and microbrew tasting has become a welcome community event. Watch for announcements for this fun event beginning in December.
Fundraising: Friends Book Sale
The Friends Book Sale begins with a special members-only night and continues for several days each year. Book donations are accepted at the Library prior to the event and book pick up can be arranged by calling the Library. The 2017 sale will be held the last weekend in October.
