Below is a list of virtual programs that our patrons can participate in from home. Most are videos of programs created by our program leaders, and others are instructions on how you can complete a project from home. We will be updating this list often as new programs are created.
All Ages Programs
People’s History of COVID-19: We are collecting your thoughts, reflections and experiences about your life during this pandemic. We plan to collect these items and share them as part of our local history collection. People will want to know what life was like in Deerfield during this extraordinary time. You are the historian!
Mindfulness Practices from Home. We were very sad to have to cancel the Mindfulness for All Ages program series we had planned to host in April 2020. However, there are many ways you can get started practicing mindfulness at home. Please view this list for videos, websites, books, and other resources to help you relax and strengthen your mind.
Online Art Gallery: While the building is closed we will exhibit work by local artists and artisans here. Interested in one of these artists’ work or exhibiting your own work here? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Tilton Book-to-Art Group on Facebook: The goal of this group is to find hands-on, creative ways to engage with literature – where the process of art-making is more important than the product! Let’s share how books inspire us through art.
