Community Conversation: Sensory Spaces in Public Libraries

Tilton Library 71 North Main Street, South Deerfield, MA, United States

Tilton library received a $10,000 grant to make our library more accessible for neurodivergent youth. Currently we are planning a sensory room and we need your help to create an accessible space that feels safe and welcoming for everyone. Join us at the Tilton Library’s temporary location for pizza and an informal conversation. All ages welcome, we want to hear from kids and adults! We’ll talk about sensory equipment, accessible seating, lighting, and more. Can’t make the meeting, but you want to share your thoughts? Use the contact information below. To request accommodations contact Holly Johnson at 413-665-4683 or hjohnson@cwmars.org Please allow at least three days to arrange accommodation.
