The Parent Discussion Group will be held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. We encourage any and all parents to join us - nesters, empty nesters, grandparents, parents to be. We'll use our collection of current and classic parenting books as a jumping off point. See you soon!

The Board of Trustees are an elected town body which is entrusted with overseeing, maintaining and planning the future for the most democratic of all our public institutions, the public library. Library Board members are responsible for working with other board members to oversee the library, establishing policy and plans, determining the final budget and conducting public relations. The powers and duties of trustees are covered in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 78, section 10-13. Meeting agenda is posted at Deerfield Town Hall at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting

Third Thursday Book Discussion

Third Thursday is an informal group, open to all, no sign up necessary. Reserve your book at the adult circulation desk or online. The book chosen for December is "Yes Please" by Amy Poehler. The actress best known for her work on "Parks and Recreation" and "Saturday Night Live" reveals personal stories and offers her humorous take on such topics as love, friendship, parenthood, and her relationship with Tina Fey.
