Book Sale Drop Off – Deerfield Town Hall

The Friends of Tilton Library are seeking gently used or new books in good condition, clean, dry and mold-free. General fiction, mysteries, classic titles in excellent condition, general non-fiction, cooking, gardening,crafts, arts, dance, photography, architecture, biography and history, books for kids and teens, books on cd and dvds. Please DO NOT bring books without covers, encyclopedias, magazines and catalogs, dissertations and theses, text books, Cliff or Spark notes, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, law and reference books, dated guides and manuals (travel, computer, etc.), ANY surplus from businesses, institutions or other libraries.

Friends of Tilton Library Monthly Meeting

The Directors of the Friends meet on the first Monday of every month except on holidays when the meeting is usually re-scheduled to the following Monday. Members of the Friends and the public are welcome to attend all Friends of the Library meetings.

English Conversation

Facilitated by Michael Pollitt, this free, informal group is open to all. We meet downstairs at the library. This program organized by Center for New Americans.

Preschool Story Time

Each program features an age appropriate book and related activity. No sign up needed – all children 0-5 (and their caregivers) are welcome

Tilton Library Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting

Open public meeting. Agenda posted at Deerfield Town Hall. This nine member board is comprised of five elected positions and four permanent positions. The Board of Trustees is a town department legally responsible for the provision of library services.

Mystery Book Discussion

Mystery and suspense readers are invited to the library on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 for a lively discussion of the book and other of life’s mysteries. This month’s title, "Raven Black" won the Duncan Lawrie Dagger Award for the best crime novel of the year. The novel is the first in a series known as the Shetland Island series.
