Art at Tilton – Watercolors by Kathy Lowry

Artist Statement – Kathy Lowry I derive my inspiration from nature and the beautiful area we live in. I paint primarily outdoors on location (en plein air), to spend time in nature and to observe the best light and color. A Landscape Architect by trade, I have no formal art background. I learn through occasional workshops and by painting wherever I go.

Summer Reading Begins – Libraries Rock!

Join us for ice cream treats and summer reading sign ups throughout the day on Saturday, at the library. At 4:00 join us at Deerfield Town Hall for a free performance by Rock Voices.

Monday Night Music – Michael Graffius

Mike plays original songs and covers inspired by a long list of singer/songwriters that include Woody Guthrie, Donovan and Billy Joel. Performances are held on the library lawn (or inside the children's room in case of bad weather). Bring a chair and a friend. Monday Night Music is free and open to all and is supported by the Friends of Tilton through membership fees and fundraising activities.

Preschool Story Time

We meet at 11 in the children's room and start the story at about 10 after. A trained therapy dog, Duffy, visits us after that and then we feed the worms in our vermiculture worm bin. Story time is free and open to all preschool children and their caregivers. No sign up needed.

Monday Night Music – Robert Speth and Jay Letourneau

This piano and guitar duo recreate harmonies of the early pop era and perform music by artists like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, and more. Monday Night Music is free and open to all. Performances are held on the library lawn (or inside the children's room in case of bad weather). Bring a chair and a friend. Supported by the Friends of Tilton Library through membership fees and fundraising activities.
