We meet at 11 in the children's room and start the story at about 10 after. A trained therapy dog, Duffy, visits us after that and then we feed the worms in our vermiculture worm bin. Story time is free and open to all preschool children and their caregivers. No sign up needed.

Tilton Library Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees are an elected town body which is entrusted with overseeing, maintaining and planning the future for the most democratic of all our public institutions, the public library. Library Board members are responsible for working with other board members to oversee the library, establishing policy and plans, determining the final budget and conducting public relations. The powers and duties of trustees are covered in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 78, section 10-13. Meeting agenda is posted at Deerfield Town Hall at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting

"Polishing the Bones" is an intimate portrayal of a woman’s unfolding inner journey through her Jungian analysis, her dreams, and her terminal illness as she is guided deeper into the mysteries of life and the extraordinary transformation of her death. The true story of an unusually creative woman, Laura, following her life’s transformation and individuation, with all its longing, pain, transcendent beauty, love, and life’s completion. After the conclusion of her Jungian analysis, Laura becomes terminally ill and is supported by a few intimates including her former analyst, who comes to live with the family to help her die. The intimacy and depth of relationship between the two women, and the foundation of guiding dreams that developed in the analysis, forms a container for an unfolding spiritual journey with numinous experience and sacred visions. Jack Frost Party
Drop in Saturday afternoon to make snowmen paper chains, decorate snowflake cookies, make origami 3D paper stars, make mitten garlands, make paper snowflakes, make birdseed cakes to hang outside and put snowballs (marshmallows) in cocoa! Free and open to all. No sign up needed.
