Exhibit of Shutesbury-based artist Edith Hunsberger's animal portrait paintings will be on display upstairs during open hours: Monday: 11 - 4 Tuesday: 1 - 5 Wednesday: 11 - 4 Thursday: 1 -7 Saturday: 11 - 4
We are looking forward to the return of Machine Shop with their crowd pleasing acoustic assortment. We’ll have ice cream to hand out! Bring your own chair or a blanket. Social distancing and other guidelines in place as required by Deerfield’s Board of Health. The library will be closed for this event so please plan ahead. Rain date is 7/19
The book, The Cat I Never Named: A True Story of Love, War, and Survival by Amra Sabic-El-Rayess is the sensitively told story of a Muslim-Bosnian teen, her family, and life during the Bosnian War - and the stray cat who kept an eye on them. The discussion will be led by Barry Dietz who is known for his dynamic, engaging talks on all manner of subjects and who has a long history of leading book discussions for YA and Adults Contact Julie Cavacco at jcavacco@cwmars.org / 665-4683 to reserve a copy of the book.
