LIBRARIES IN THE WOODS SERIES PRESENTS: Presentation by Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary After reading A Stranger in the Woods, come learn about the woods in Massachusetts. Via a PowerPoint presentation discover the types of forests in our state, some of the changes over time, and some of the birds and wildlife that can be found here. We will also discuss some plants that can be edible as well as plants and animals to be cautious of. LIBRARIES IN THE WOODS is a community-read program of 10 local libraries, featuring discussion and related programs on the book, “Stranger in the Woods: The extraordinary story of the last true hermit” by Michael Finkel.
