Chandler's Restaurant and Deerfield Spirit Shoppe present a tasting of wine and micro beers to benefit Tilton Library. Ticket includes wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres. $25 per person at the door or $20 in advance at Tilton Library and Deerfield Spirit Shoppes. For more information, call the library. When birds fly they seem to be made of the very air they soar through. In this workshop WE WILL USE DISCARDED PLASTIC MILK JUGS to make three dimensional birds as part of a mobile. The translucent material of the milk jug highlights the airiness of birds in flight. These mobiles are easy and fun to make. When done, these fluttering sculptures can hang at a window, over a table, or outdoors.
