Worm Bin Compost Demonstration

Join us for a presentation by the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District to learn how to make a worm bin for compost.  Worms are one of Earth’s recycling creatures because they eat food waste and transform it into compost that can be used to help plants grow.

CANCELLED: We are sorry to announce that due to low registration this workshop has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in the late fall of 2024. Stay tuned for details. FREE workshop for TEENS Local artist S.T. Gately will offer reflections on the history and origins of street art. S.T. will share artistic alphabet styles that have been inspired by street art and guide you in creating your own tag - a visual representation of your own identity – on paper. You will consider parts of your personality and life, values and goals, to create your own unique piece of art.  

Insect Handling Session

Club T-shirts, featuring artwork by students will be available for sale at $30 each, cash and Venmo accepted. Proceeds from sales go to support the live insect zoo.
