The Mindfulness in Libraries series, a collaboration between Tilton, Sunderland, and Whately libraries, presents: Interested in slowing down the brain chatter? Frustrated by how hard it is to manage the stress of life? Trouble sleeping? Feeling anxious and stressed? Have young children or teenagers who could use better stress-reduction skills? Join Erika Ross (marriage and family therapist, yoga and mindfulness practitioner) and Holly Johnson (librarian, parent, mindfulness practitioner) as they introduce strategies and resources to help you become more present, better manage stress, and increase gratitude and compassion. This is the kick-off to a mindfulness series starting in March, taking place at libraries in Sunderland, Deerfield, and Whately.
