Virtual Art Exhibit Policy

Purpose:  Exhibits on the library website provide a place where local artists and crafts people can show their work within the limits of the web page, with an understanding that the website is visited regularly by people of all ages, including young children.

The site:  The Virtual Gallery exhibit page is located on the Tilton website (tiltonlibrary.org) under the Events tab.

Who may display works of art: Applications for exhibits on the Tilton Library website may be made by individuals, or non-profit groups to the library director. One-person, group, or theme exhibits will be considered.

Period of display:  Exhibits are scheduled for four to six weeks. Works remain on display throughout the exhibit period.  

Donation:  A 10% donation is expected at time of sale payable to “Tilton Fund, Inc.”. Tilton Library has no involvement in any sale of works. All sales are private between artist and buyer.
