We're excited to co-host a zine-making workshop at Just Roots, with Trouble Mandeson, author of "These Women: An Illustrated Collection of Kickass Women." Reading About Service Dogs With Service Dogs!

Learn the basics about what a service dog is and how it is different than other dogs.  Ask questions and meet real service dogs! Local student, author, dog trainer, and Girl Scout Catherine "Cat" Bezio will visit Tilton to talk about her experience training service dogs and how services dogs should be approached when they are on the job! Her recently published book will be available to purchase. Jess Mattson, President of J.M. Animal Training and Rescue, https://jmanimaltraining.com/about-us, will be bringing her two service dogs and will be in attendance. This event will take place outside.

"Everyone loves a Good Cat Video, but what if your cat isn't acting quite as cute at the ones you see on the internet? "Are you tired of your cat thinking "outside of the box"... or living with a hardcore shredder? And I don' mean snowboarding! Dr. Rachel Geller, certified cat behaviorist, and author of "Saving the World One Cat at a Time", will answer these questions and more, so bring your cat behavior questions! How to Bake a Universe Author Visit

Kids will love decorating their own cosmic sunglasses, hearing the book read aloud by the author, and asking questions about the fun and funky science at the end. Poetry Reading with Linda Rhinehart Neas

Reading from a new book of poetry, Uprooting, by Linda M. Rhinehart Neas, inspired by years of teaching immigrants English as a second language. The poems paint a powerful picture of classroom life as well as the lives of students. Books will be available for sale and signing. Profits will go to the Library Building Expansion fund.
