Sugarloaf String Band explores traditional cowboy tunes from the 1800s and early 1900s. They also play some country/western as well. Expect to hear “Ghost Riders,” “Cool Water,” “Streets of Laredo,” “Cotton-Eyed Joe,” “Honky Tonk Blues,” and more by this five-piece acoustic band. Fun for all ages! Performances are held on the lawn of Tilton Library (or inside the Children’s Room in case of bad weather.) Bring a chair and a friend. This free event is sponsored by Friends of Tilton Library.
Every Friday at 10 am. No sign ups needed. Our picture book area will be reserved for the littlest of our patrons to roll around (or practice standing) and meet eye to eye with their peers. All babies and their caregivers welcome. Free coffee for grownups (while it lasts).
