Presented by Amherst College students. Scientists examine rocks to learn about life in the distant past. Some rocks tell us a bit about what critters may have looked liked, while other rocks give us a sense of what the critters used to do. Some of the first people to notice these special rocks once lived and worked in Deerfield many years ago. One of the earliest discoveries was made by a local teenager. Explore fossils and gems from the Rock, Fossil and Dinosaur Shop.

Joins us at the Deerfield Town Hall, 8 Conway St, South Deerfield, MA 01373 for a Family Friendly Event for all ages & levels of experience. ALL participants will use beautiful, authentic drums and percussion instruments! Otha leads these fun and lively drum circle events from the core belief that rhythm can build community, promote well-being and healing, and create joy. He supports participants as they learn about the importance of rhythm in all aspects of life while taking part in activities and experiences, showing them that their heartbeat and breath are the rhythms of the soul and the pathways of connection to everyone.
