Join us for a presentation by the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District to learn how to make a worm bin for compost.  Worms are one of Earth’s recycling creatures because they eat food waste and transform it into compost that can be used to help plants grow.

Join us at the pavilion behind the Deerfield Elementary School for an interactive insect handling session by the UMass Amherst Fernald Club. Club T-shirts, featuring artwork by students will be available for sale at $30 each, cash and Venmo accepted. Proceeds from sales go to support the live insect zoo.
