TILTON IS CO-HOSTING THIS FREE WEEKLY CLASS, SPONSORED BY SUNDERLAND LIBRARY. Dvora Eisenstein leads this free weekly Qigong class on Zoom. Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system integrating slow movements, breathing techniques, and focused intention. Qigong calms your mind, improves your balance, and enhances health. While out shopping on Deerfield's Town-wide Tag Sale Day, come over to a book sale hosted by the Friends of Tilton Library. At the same time we will be kicking off the 2nd Annual Wish List Tree fundraiser which will take place the entire month of October. Participate in this self-serve donation activity to help the library fund the things you want! The Library will receive all proceeds from the book sale and wish list tree, to be used for programs as well as purchases of books, museum passes, and other resources. *BOOK DONATIONS: THE LIBRARY IS ACCEPTING ONE SMALL BAG/BOX PER HOUSEHOLD OF RECENT BOOKS IN GOOD CONDITION. The book, Different Kinds of Hurt: Isaac's Story by Leigh Hallisey is part of a Massachusetts Department of Public Health Campaign. The Story Walk will be in the Tilton Library backyard October 4 - October 15.
