Hosted by Sheep & Shawl (Liz Sorenson) at Tilton Library  Bring crafts of your choosing – knitting, crochet, spinning, rug-hooking, mending, any portable craft. Free. The indoor crafts circle requires registration as seats are limited. (But up to 12 are allowed as we will meet upstairs this year!) Masks are strongly recommended. GARDEN PLANNING with Gideon

Plan your garden with long-time organic farmer and Atlas Farm owner, Gideon Porth! This workshop is for all experience levels whether you've been gardening for years or are planning on starting your first one this year. Plot out your garden beds and pick the brain of an organic farmer with over 15 years of experience growing in the valley. Friends COLLECTION Day for Book Sale

The Friends of Tilton Library will be COLLECTING gently used RECENT books on April 29 & May 6, 10am-12pm at the Tilton Library. We are looking for RECENT fiction, kids books, history, and biographies. All books must be in good condition and all potential donations will be reviewed by Friends members at the time of donation—only select items will be accepted. Books may only be donated during these collection days. The Book Sale will be on Saturday May 13, 9-12.   Clean out your book shelves and help the Friends raise money for library programs!

PLANT SALE* It's that time of year! *Bring your divided perennials - BARE ROOTS ONLY, NO SOIL -  to the back of the library on May 11-12th. We thank you for your donations. All sales go to the Tilton Fund.

Book Sale

The Friends of Tilton Library are holding a Book Sale. Come browse excellent contemporary fiction, history, biographies, children's books, and young adult books! Out front of the library from 9am - 12pm. $5.00 for a bag of books from 11:30-12!

CYANOTYPE CLASS: Sign-up Required

In the Tilton Library backyard with artist Madge Evers. Rain date Saturday June 3. Limited to 15: please sign up. Stop by the library, call 413-665-4683, or send an email to tiltonlibrary@cwmars.org to reserve your spot! Magical and simple cyanotypes are a camera-less technique that results in graphic blue and white prints. Developed in 1852, this alternative photographic process uses a light-sensitive solution on paper, sunlight, and pressed plants to make beautiful botanical images. Participants will make one cyanotype print to take home. Funded by the Friends of Tilton Library.

Updated Design: Forum at Town Hall

Save the date! Join the Tilton Library Building Committee, Board of Library Trustees, Library Director, Architect and Project Manager for the public forum where the Deerfield community can see the unveiling of the revised Building Expansion design, ask questions, and give feedback. This forum will take place at Town Hall in South Deerfield on May 16 at 6pm- we look forward to seeing you there!
