Tilton Library will be closed in honor of Veteran's Day on Saturday, November 11.
Do you want to learn more yo-yo techniques? Visit Tilton Library on Mondays from 5-6 pm through November 20 for this free, fun program for all ages.
Each year, all Friends of Tilton members meet to elect a board of governors and approve an annual budget. This year, as in the past, the meeting will be preceded by a portfolio of homemade pies for all to share. Friends of Tilton Library, Inc. is a separate 501(c)(3) membership organization and is open to anyone who wants to join. The Friends mission is to encourage and promote the enrichment and use of the library and to foster support for the library in the community. For people who want to show their support and appreciation of Tilton Library, being a Friend is the first step. Annual dues continue to be $15 per year and if necessary, you can contribute your time in lieu of dues. Come check us out at our monthly meetings at the library.
We meet at 11 in the children's room and start the story at about 10 after. A trained therapy dog, Duffy, visits us after that and then we feed the worms in our vermiculture worm bin. Story time is free and open to all preschool children and their caregivers. No sign up needed.
Come visit us on Fridays to play in our beautiful back yard with little wagons, bouncy cows, kid rakes, balls, ring toss, run-around rainbow streamers - or maybe your little one just wants to run around! Any weather - 10 - 11:30.
