We meet at 11 in the children's room and start the story at about 10 after. A trained therapy dog, Duffy, visits us after that and then we feed the worms in our vermiculture worm bin. Story time is free and open to all preschool children and their caregivers. No sign up needed
Bring your favorite poem with you as we gather together for a community hike up Mount Sugarloaf. We will split into two groups: one walking up the road and the other hiking up the main trail (both hikes are approximately one mile and take 30 minutes). We will meet at the top to read aloud our favorite poems and share light refreshments. Please bring your own water. This program in celebration of National Poem in Your Pocket Day is brought to you by Sunderland Public Library and Tilton Library.
Wear your pajamas to the library and listen to a bed time story with Kathy O'Rourke, long time teacher. This fun event is free and open to all kids.
May Day being just around the corner, we will make little holders for you to fill with goodies for your friends and family. If you get caught delivering them you may have to give a kiss!
