To prepare for the construction of the Building Expansion Project, the Tilton Library will be closed FROM APRIL 5 – MAY 1, to move to and set up in our temporary location at 71 North Main Street in South Deerfield. While we are closed, below are ways you can use your library card, borrow and attend programs at other libraries, and get answer to questions.
PLEASE NOTE: STARTING APRIL 5 we will not be receiving deliveries from other libraries and will not be processing holds. Therefore WHEN PLACING HOLDS, PLEASE SELECT ANOTHER LOCAL LIBRARY AT WHICH TO PICK UP YOUR HOLDS (see illustration below). You may resume pickup at Tilton’s temp space on May 1. Also, we will not be accepting any library item returns at all, so items need to be returned to other libraries. You may resume returning items to Tilton’s temp space on May 1.

While we are closed we will not be answering the phone but will check messages and return calls. You may leave a message at 413-665-4683. If we don’t get back to you right away that means we are still setting up phone service in the temporary location.
