The Friends of Tilton Library will be COLLECTING gently used RECENT books on April 29 & May 6, 10am-12pm at the Tilton Library. We are looking for RECENT fiction, kids books, history, and biographies. All books must be in good condition and all potential donations will be reviewed by Friends members at the time of donation—only select items will be accepted. Books may only be donated during these collection days. The Book Sale will be on Saturday May 13, 9-12. Clean out your book shelves and help the Friends raise money for library programs!

Where everyone's a poet, but you might not know it. (yet) We'll use paint chips, magazine photos, and your words to create poetry...be prepared to be messy and creative! Open to all ages - kids, teens, adults.
TILTON IS CO-HOSTING THIS FREE WEEKLY CLASS, SPONSORED BY SUNDERLAND LIBRARY. Dvora Eisenstein leads this free weekly Qigong class on Zoom. Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system integrating slow movements, breathing techniques, and focused intention. Qigong calms your mind, improves your balance, and enhances health. J-lo is a trained therapy dog and she will be visiting the children’s room twice a month. The First Tuesday of the Month, 10:30-11:30am at Story Time The Third or Fourth Tuesday of the Month, 3-4pm After School Stop by to read her a story or just give her some love!

Learn to slow down, relax, and experience mindfulness in this free four-week workshop. We’ll explore the principles of mindfulness and teach meditation strategies including breath work, mindful movement, and mindful writing.Led by community members and mindfulness practitioners Jennie Donohue, Erika Higgins Ross, and Sara Coblyn. Limited to eight people, 18 years and older. Please wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow or cushion to sit on..
